(Topeka, KS) – Kansas Senate Majority leader Derek Schmidt tells KOFO News that cities and counties will be hit hard due to Governor Sebelius’ target budget cuts. Schmidt says that just adds to cities and counties worries about their own budgets. Schmidt and other Republicans came under fire last week for blaming the Governor for the financial crisis and say she has been unwilling work with the Republican majority on legislation.
