(Baldwin City, KS) – Baldwin City residents need to be alert for some raccoons in the city. Police Chief Mike Mc Kenna says six coons have tested positive for distemper. They may be wandering around during daylight hours looking confused. The concentration has been on the east side of Baldwin City so far. Mc Kenna said if you see a raccoon call the police department at 785-594-2850 and animal control officers will take care of it.
