OTTAWA — County Commissioner David Hood said he wants to end the county’s contract that keeps an ambulance in Wellsville. He said he doubts that the Wellsville ambulance is worth the cost and that the ambulance would provide better coverage to the entire county by being back in Ottawa. However, it’s not likely to be anytime soon. The contract goes to the end of the year, county administrator Lisa Johnson said.
