OTTAWA — The Ottawa Police is seeking help to find a missing World War II-era German machine gun that disappeared from the department’s inventory. The gun, an MP40 9mm., was last seen in 1972, Chief Dennis Butler said. Call Crimestoppers at 1-888-311-8477 or the police at 242-1700.
