WASHINGTON — The U.S. Senate has scheduled a confirmation vote for Gov. Kathleen Sebelius today. Sebelius has been nominated to be President Obama’s secretary of Health and Human Services. Once she’s sworn in, Lt. Gov. Mark Parkinson will become the new Kansas governor. Parkinson, a former Republican, says he won’t run for governor next year.
