LYNDON — A 55-year-old Lyndon woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident south of Lyndon. Peggy Lee Peterson was driving east on K-278 near the US 75 junction when her pickup left the road, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. Troopers said she tried to steer the truck back onto to the road when she lost control. The truck rolled four times. Troopers said she wasn’t wearing a safety restraint.
