OTTAWA — After earlier controversy, Franklin County commissioners voted Wednesday to accept economic stimulus money to repair John Brown Road between Princeton and Williamsburg. Commissioners thanked the Kansas Department of Transportation for making changes that will cost the county less to make the repairs. The commissioners also voted to pay for tests of the ground under the road near Acorn School.
