OTTAWA — The county’s top health official said that so far, the county hasn’t received any reports of swine flu in Franklin County. County medical officials are on high alert and will continue to monitor the situation, county health director Midge Ransom said. Ransom reminded people they can help prevent flu and other viruses by frequent hand-washing, controlling sneezes and coughs, staying at home at least 24 hours after symptoms disappear and getting plenty of rest and nutritious food.
