OSAGE CITY — A 75-year-old Osage City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on K-31 Wednesday afternoon.The Kansas Highway Patrol said Herbert Brooks was driving a cargo van east on K-31 near Urish Road when the tread on one of his rear tires separated. Brooks lost control of his truck, which entered a ditch and hit an iron fence. Brooks was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
