OTTAWA — A public hearing on the future of K-68 east of Ottawa will be 5-7 Thursday night at the Franklin County Annex. Consultants for the Kansas Department of Transportation have been studying K-68 between Ottawa and the Missouri line. The study includes land use, traffic patterns and potential business development along the highway. The hearing is come-and-go and the public can talk to KDOT staff or the consultants and look at displays.
