OTTAWA — Ottawa High School commencement speaker Shelby Eichenberger gave her fellow graduates a send-off from Doctor Suess Sunday and Corisa Rakestraw told her fellow graduates they have important roles because they have to skills and education to help transform their part of the world. One hundred sixty-five seniors received their diplomas during a beautiful sunny day at Steve Grogan Field. Rakestraw, the class treasurer, formally presented a gift of $2,000 to the high school. The money will be combined with money from the Class of 2008 to be used to help buy an LED message board at 11th and Ash.
