OTTAWA — How should K-68 east of Ottawa grow? That’s a question the state, two counties and three cities are trying to answer. The corridor is going to see more traffic and development and now’s the time to be preparing, Ottawa city manager Richard Nienstedt said. Consultants for the Kansas Department of Transportation are working on a corridor study that would offer options to the cities and counties along the highway for managing growth and development.
