PAOLA — Besides the K-68 corridor study, Miami County is part of another transportation study. The county is part of a five-county study being done by the Mid-America Regional Council. Work on the study is at the half-way point, MARC’s Tom Garend said. He said the study is looking how the area’s transportation needs and business and residential development will change over the next 30 years. Besides road needs, the study is also looking at the environmental, energy and social impacts from development, he said. It’s not too late to comment on the study, he said.
