WELLSVILLE — Is it case of ghosts, a really big mouse or a really lazy burglar? Someone walked through an unlocked side door into a house in the 4600 block of
K-38 in extreme eastern Franklin County late Monday or early Tuesday, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office said. The intruder left without taking or breaking anything. Officers said the only clue to the intruder’s presence was a set of greasy footprints on the floor.The family told officers no one in the family wears shoes in the house and the footprints didn’t match any shoes worn by the family.
