OTTAWA — When Jay Leno left the Tonight Show Friday he didn’t go to Ottawa afterwards. Locals said they heard had that Leno planned to bid on vintage cars offered during the mammoth three-day Sylvester auction in Ottawa this weekend. However Aumann Auction which conducted the sale said Leno didn’t bid or at least make a bid in his name. However, the sale attracted buyers from Europe, Asia and Australia. The auction firm said old American farm equipment is especially popular among overseas collectors.
