The Smiths were trying to find a new insurance office in Paola and after driving around, wife Claire finally talked her husband Daniel into stopping at a Casey’s in Paola to get directions. After he refused to ask, she went into the store to ask for directions. She also bought some lottery tickets. Daniel smith said he was still annoyed and he refused to scratch off the tickets but when he finally agreed to scratch off the tickets he found that one was a $10,000 winner. The Smiths plan to use the money to pay medical bills and make additional payments on their new house in Linn Valley.
