OTTAWA — The Ottawa leg of the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run started Wednesday morning. The torch run began in Franklin County Tuesday afternoon at Wellsville. Wednesday morning and afternoon, a group of officers and volunteers including runners from Central Heights High School ran the torch down Old 50 through Williamsburg to Beto Junction. The Special Olympics begin Friday in Wichita.
