Franklin County has a Kansas wonder with Guy and Mae’s tavern in Williamsburg. After 8 weeks of voting, Guy and Mae’s got into the 8 Wonders of Kansas Cuisine. The Franklin County Courthouse was voted in as an Architectural 24 finalist, and artist Grandama Layton, was voted in as an Art 24 finalist. The goal of this project was to educate the world and Kansans about Kansas icons and to promote travel in Kansas.
