GARNETT — If you live in Anderson County and think you’ve been getting more rain than usual, you’re right. That and more wind and more hail. Normal precipitation for Anderson County is just above 19 inches, but so far the county has been hit with nearly two inches more than normal and the month’s not over yet, the Anderson County Review reported. A wet pattern settled over the eastern part of the state in June and is likely to continue into July, said state climatologist Mary Knapp. However, by the end of July, the wet pattern will likely be replaced by a pattern of hotter than normal temperatures, she said.
