PAOLA — Traffic will be delayed on some roads in Miami, Linn and Bourbon counties beginning today. This week, the Kansas Cepartment of Transportation will test the strength of pavement on the roads with a special trailer that uses falling weights that smacks the surface. A pilot car will be used to take traffic around testing areas. Tests will be done on K-68 between the U.S 169 junction and the Missouri state line, K-7 in Linn County, K-52 between K-31 and U.S 69, and K-65 from K-3 to Mapleton. The tests will continue through Thursday. KDOT said delays shouldn’t be any longer than 15 minutes.
