OTTAWA — Ottawa pastor Kent Mathews pleaded innocent to a charge of felony theft.
Mathews’ attorney requested a jury trial during Mathews’ arraignment in Franklin County District Court Tuesday morning. The trial will be Nov. 17. Mathews is accused taking a gold coin collection worth $6,300 from an elderly Ottawa man.
