OTTAWA — Ottawa will host the state RCD meeting in September. The state meeting will be the same weekend as the Power of the Past show, said Don Stottlemire, Franklin County commissioner and member of the Lake Region RCD. The two events will show off Ottawa to its best advantage and ensure motel rooms, restaurants and shops will be full for three days, he said. RCDs – Resource Conservation and Development councils — are regional groups involved in conserving resources and developing rural areas.
