PAOLA — Oh ye of little faith. Robert Eidson, Paola, bought a Powerball ticket and left it on the kitchen counter. He forgot about it but saw it a week later. Eidson said when he told his wife Chandra he was going to check it, she told him he was wasting his time. He looked on the Kansas Lottery’s Web site and saw the ticket was a $10,000 winner.
She still didn’t believe him. Only when they went to a store and confirmed it was a winner did she believe him. He said they plan to buy a new washer and dryer with their prize money.
