SAN DIEGO — An Osawatomie teacher will quiz U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan this afternoon in San Diego. Christy Levings, Osawatomie, will be on a teachers’ panel taking part in a town-hall meeting on national education issues. Levings is the former president of the Kansas National Education Association and is on the NEA’s executive committee. Likely issues include the use of economic stimulus funds for education, teacher recruitment and retention, and No Child Left Behind.
