MOUND CITY — Flooding along the Marais des Cygnes River will be the focus of a meeting of the Marais des Cygnes River Basin Advisory Committee at 1 p.m. July 14 at the Linn County Courthouse Annex, Mound City. The Kansas Water Office’s Tom Lowe will present the will discuss a flood management plan. BAC member Dave Murphy will discuss river recreation and increasing public access to the river.
