OTTAWA — An Ottawa tax activist clashed with county officials during Monday’s budget session. Brad Heathman, organizer of the April 15 tea party and July 4 tax soup line, asked county administrator Lisa Johnson and county commissioners for a copy of the preliminary county budget so he could analyze the figures before the public hearing in a month. Johnson and commissioners Ed Taylor and Don Stottlemire said the budget hasn’t been completed and is still in draft form. Johnson told Heathman he could file a Freedom of Information request. Heathman said he would file and request and if he got the information, he would put the preliminary budget on his new Web site concerning local politics. The web site is www.franklinwiki.info.
