OTTAWA — Levi Houston will face another jury trial in connection with charges involving his girl friend. Houston stood mute during his arraignment for two charges of intimidating a witness and five charges of violating a protective order in Franklin County District Court Monday afternoon. Because he stood mute when he was asked to place a plea, District Judge Tom Sachse entered a plea of not guilty to the seven charges on Houston’s behalf. His trial will be Feb. 9-10. Houston faces a trial beginning Nov. 2 on charges of aggravated kidnapping and other charges of battery and domestic abuse. He is accused of threatening to drown his girl friend and trying to strangle her and then trying to get her and their children from testifying against him. He remains in jail.
