GARNETT — The Anderson County Fair gets an early start Sunday morning at
6:45 with the Anderson County 4-H Scholarship Run/Walk at the North Lake.
Although there will be no carnival midway at the fair, there is a full slate of activities next week. The youth rodeo is 7 p.m. Monday. The fair parade will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the stadium, followed by a kids’ tractor pull and a ranch rodeo. The annual pie baking contest and Merchants tent is Wednesday night. An open pet show is Thursday afternoon. David Frizzell will perform two concerts Aug. 1 at the Anderson County Junior-Senior High School.
