OTTAWA — It’s fire, earth and water for the Ottawa City Commission’s work session today at 4 at city hall. Commissioners will hear a request from local Babe Ruth officials to have a fireworks display at the Orlis Cox Baseball Complex Friday night for the state Babe Ruth tournament. They’ll also discuss lawn-mowers for the public works department. Then commissioners will hear reports on flood plain rules and on a proposed water line in north Ottawa.
