GARNETT — Hundreds of people got their first look – and hopefully their last look – at Anderson County’s new jail and law enforcement center. Sheriff Scot Brownrigg held an open house of the new Law Enforcement Center Friday night and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. A steady stream of visitors took a look at the new facility, Brownrigg said. The 911 dispatch center is using the new $5.5 million center. The sheriff’s department has started moving in and the county emergency management office has moved in. Prisoners are expected to be moved into the new jail beginning in August.
