OTTAWA — Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison fire chief Jim Stonequist said the cause of an early Friday morning fire south of Ottawa remains under investigation by the state fire marshal. The fire’s origin is suspicious but there has been no determination on what started the fire, he said. The fire destroyed a vacant house in the 2200 block of Jackson Road and owned by Mark weigand of Ottawa.
