OTTAWA — Ottawa will play Ripon, Wisc., at 2 p.m. Thursday in the opening round of the American Legion Midwest Tournament in Milbank, S.D. Coach Shawn Herrman said he likes his team’s chances and that they’re coming into the tournament with plenty of confidence and excitement. Ottawa is the only American Legion team in Kansas history to go undefeated all the way through the state tournament.
