OSAWATOMIE — Ottawa’s Babe Ruth 14s came from behind to win the state championship Tuesday afternoon. Ottawa had to come up through the loser’s bracket and beat Osawatomie in the championship game to force a second title game. Ottawa was up 7-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Osawatomie tied it with six runs in the top of the seventh inning. Ottawa’s Jordan Morton walked and a triple by Taylor Graf sent him home for the winning run. Ottawa will advance to regionals in Minnetonka, Minn. Ethan Jackson was Ottawa’s WOW award winner and Taylor Graf was the team’s most valuable player.
