OTTAWA — Ottawa planning and codes director Wynndee Lee said the sagging economy has affected new construction, especially for commercial property. Some proposed business complexes have been put on hold, she said. Rather than build, Ottawa Family Physicians has decided to rent more space at the county annex instead, she said.
Lee says that some remodelling and repair work continues in the city.
