OTTAWA — ECKAN’s Richard Jackson will ask the city of Ottawa’s help in pursuing a grant that would help find housing for the homeless. The city commissioners will discuss the request at their work session Monday afternoon at 4. The grant likely comes from economic stimulus funds, said City Manager Richard Nienstedt. The grant brings money back to the city while meeting a need, he said. Commissioners could decide to put the grant request on a city commission meeting agenda for later.
