OTTAWA — Christmas came in August for the city.  The city had sought federal money to repave part of Industrial Avenue in the industrial park. City manager Richard Nienstedt said he’ll have good news for city commissioners when they meet Monday afternoon.  The money for the project comes from a Congressional earmark, he said.  Contractors offered bids for the work that were lower than the city expected, he said.  Because the bids were so good, Nienstedt said the city will be able to pave the entire street.  He will recommend that commissioners accept the low bid for the work.
