OTTAWA — Although the city bans light-utility vehicles, ATVs and other small motorized vehicles from its streets, city attorney Bob Bezek told commissioners Wednesday he will work out a deal with Ottawa University to allow OU’s light-utility vehicles to keep six-wheeling. OU uses its LUVs to haul equipment between the main campus to its athletic complex, he said. He said he could work out an exemption that wouldn’t otherwise affect the city’s ban.
