GARNETT — Summer has seen rough reception for Garnett-area TV dishes, antennas, and other equipment. Tony Wolken of Garnett’s TV Shoppe said he’s been busy after three severe windstorms ripped the area in recent weeks. He said he hasn’t seen many antennas or dishes taken down by 100 mile an hour winds. However, he’s had to realign a lot of dishes, straighten up some antennas and fix some wires. Much of the damage to TV equipment has been from trees or debris rather than winds, he said.
