OTTAWA — The enrollment is looking up at Ottawa University and Neosho County Community College. Preliminary counts show that this year’s numbers at OUu will be similar to last year’s enrollment at 550. OU’s Scott Miller said it appears that a higher than normal number of students have returned from last year. Neosho County Community College dean Dale Ernst said that early enrollment numbers appear to be nearly 16 percent higher than last year. He says enrollment at the Ottawa campus is about 690. That doesn’t count enrollment from Ottawa High School students who take college-level courses, he said.
