OTTAWA — During Monday morning’s meeting, county commissioner Don Hay objected to how county public works graders work some of the county’s roads. He told county public works director Jim Haag that some roads were needlessly damaged by recent heavy rains. Haag disagreed and said that no road or ditch system would stand up to the recent storms. “The entire road was a ditch,” Haag said. . Hay also questioned the scheduling of some road maintenance projects. County administrator Lisa Johnson asked him for some specifics.
