GARNETT — A Kincaid man is in the Anderson County Jail after a high-speed chase in southern Anderson County Tuesday morning. Anderson County Undersheriff Tom Laiter said someone told officers that Craig Gibson had burglarized his house. Laiter said a Garnett officer spotted Gibson and called for help. The chase went over gravel roads at speeds ranging from 35 to more than 70 miles an hour, he said. Gibson drove to his house and officers drew their guns and arrested him on his front porch, Laiter said.
