OTTAWA — It’s plain the rain will mainly be a pain. So Franklin County Habitat for Humanity’s wall-raising originally set for Saturday has been moved back one week. Habitat’s Lisa Rivers said that because of the rain, it won’t be dry enough to pour the slab for the new house at 727 S. Sycamore. Habitat will try again on Sept. 19. The group is looking for volunteers to help build the house for the Joni Scribner family through the rest of the year.
