OSAWATOMIE — Miami Cunty officials have issued an alert to area law enforcement agencies after three men reportedly shot at Mami Cunty deputies and state officers. Agencies were told to look out for an older white pickup with three Hspanic-looking men armed with semi-automatic rifles. According to preliminary reports, the three were under surveillance by officers in southern Miami County near Osawatomie when the men opened fire on them this morning.
