GREELEY — The 9th annual Greeley Smokeoff starts Friday night and continues all day Saturday. The huge barbeque tailgate party offers something for the entire family and is held under the water tower at the park. If you want to enter the smoke-off compettion, there’s a $30 entry fee. In the past, chefs have smoked meats, cabbage, peppers, cheese and event desserts. The public can attend for free but donations to the chefs and local charities are welcome. Other activities include the Larry Schaffer Memorial Co-ed Softball Tournament Saturday and kids games beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday.
