OTTAWA — A new helicopter ambulance from Children’s Mercy Hospital will visit Ransom Memorial Hospital 1:45 to 2:45 Friday afternoon. The helicopter is a state-of-the-art American Eurocopter EC145 that is one of the world’s most popular air ambulances. The hospital said the flight crew and helicopter will be able to provide emergency room service for children while in the air.
