TOPEKA — About 300 members of the Kansas National Guard will return from Iraq after a year. Beginning Thursday and through next week, members of the 287th Special Troop Sustainment Brigade will be greeted in Wichita and Salina with special welcoming ceremonies. The brigade includes the 169th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, based in Olathe; and the 891st Engineer Battalion headquartered in Iola. The 891st includes the unit in Garnett.
