WELLSVILLE — The parade grand marshals for this year’s Wellsville Days parade Saturday are Curtis and Sue Wright. Curtis Wright is the long-time pastor of the Wellsville Family Life Church and married many Wellsville couples. He is treasurer for the Wellsville Ministerial Alliance and helped create the Wellsville food pantry. He’s also served as a bus driver and substitute teacher for Wellsville schools. She is a secretary at Wellsville Middle School and is advisor to the high school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Wellsville Days’ Barbara Kearney said this year’s parade will offer cash prizes for the top five floats. To qualify for cash prizes for parade floats, the floats must be pre-entered before Saturday. Floats will line up at 8:45 a.m. at Wellsville Elmentary School. Floats will be judged at 9:45.
