OTTAWA — Community Corrections director Keith Clark told the county commissioners his department may switch the companies that put monitors on people who are released from the jail. Rather than keep inmates in jail, the county puts special GPS and alcohol- and drug-monitor bracelets on them and releases them. Clark tells county commissioners that the company’s service had slipped but is trying to make changes. However, he said he and county administrator Lisa Johnson are looking at their options.
