OTTAWA — It’s time for that annual Franklin County fall ritual – a Day at the Farm. Franklin County Extension agent Rebecca McFarland said she expects 350-375 third graders at the Sylvester Farm, where Day at the Farm is hosted. She’ll talk about the dairy industry and how milk gets to the grocery story and the importance of drinking it.
