POMONA — The owner of the old Pomona Ready-Mix concrete plant reported the theft of scrap metal from the business sometime prior to Sunday. Rick Griffin, Reed Springs, Mo., reported that $5,300 worth of scrap metal old truck transmissions, engines and parts were missing from the property. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said he identified a suspect to officers.
